Jackson Salido is a freshman at North Carolina State University double majoring in Engineering and International Studies. He is interested in exploring the relationships between sustainability and technology and seeks to understand entrepreneurship as a tool for positive change. Jackson has interned at The Collider in Asheville, NC, where he was able to interact with a diverse group of individuals working to build climate resilience in a variety of innovative ways. Jackson is committed to increasing awareness to climate issues in ways that go beyond political activism by demonstrating the measurable ways that climate change threatens health, finance, infrastructure, and other sectors. He hopes to bring a youthful, enthusiastic perspective to the workshops he facilitates.
